“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Many people in this life are creatures of habit, but sometimes that type of life becomes dull, drab, and monotonous. Routines are often more like ditches than niches. Our lives become an endless circle of the same old things.
As we look back on all of the air we have breathed, have we truly done any real living?
Of course, we all recognize that living is more than drawing breath. It is filling life with the things that are most important; it is making the most of every moment. The older we get, the more we begin to realize that we have only one shot at this thing called life.
Jesus said that He died that we might have everlasting life. By faith in Him we come to the real definition of life.
At our church we know that eternal life is not just something we receive when this life is over, but it is a gift that we are living out abundantly every day.
Jesus told His disciples to go and tell the world about Him. As they carried out this command, called the Great Commission, they learned what real living was. Bible Baptist is a place where you can start living the life God intended!
